Lasswade high school

Our year long Lasswade high school project in conjunction with BAM Construction was completed recently. The new school and community centre in Midlothian is one of 67 school projects across Scotland participating in the Scottish Futures Trust programme (an initiative to achieve the very best value for money for investment in new schools).


Turnberry

  • Value: £11 million
  • Duration: 7 months
Turnberry Hotel and Resort was selected to host the 138th Open Championship. Arthur McKay was asked to refurbish the hotel’s M&E and networks services in time for tee off. No pressure then.


 

Wembley Stadium

  • Value: £1.8 million
  • Duration: 9 months
After it blew the final whistle on its old Soho offices, the FA decided to move beneath the bowl of the iconic, new Wembley Stadium. Arthur McKay was responsible for design development, co-ordination, installation and commissioning as this world renowned football venue underwent a transformation.


Parliament House

  • Value: £9 million
  • Duration: 43 months
Parliament House is a collection of buildings that have been pressed into service as the needs of the neighbouring court have expanded. It’s of historic significance and Grade A listed, requiring all works to be sympathetic to the existing structure and surroundings.


Royal Commonwealth Pool

  • Value: £1.8 million
  • Duration: 2 years
Arthur McKay provided the complete electrical works to this Grade A listed swimming pool initially built for the 1970 Commonwealth Games, bringing it inline with current standards.
