Congratulations to 1st year apprentice at Arthur McKay, Jodie Conroy, who is the proud winner of “Stage 1 Apprentice of the Year 2017”, awarded by the Scottish Electrical Charitable Training Trust (SECTT).
Jodie, who joined Arthur McKay’s Glasgow office in 2016 to embark on an Electrical Apprenticeship training programme, commented: “I was attracted to Arthur McKay’s Apprenticeship Scheme for the combination of hands on work experience alongside my further education. As the only girl on the course, I was surprised and delighted to have been selected by SECTT as their winner.”
The Scottish Electrical Charitable Training Trust (SECTT) was established in 1990 to manage the Scottish Joint Industry Board (SJIB) Training Schemes. SECTT run the only industry approved training scheme for electrical apprenticeships in Scotland. See their website for more details.
