The Scotland-wide hub initiative is a national delivery vehicle for community infrastructure, which secures best value for the public purse. This trio of new health and civic centres is one such initiative, delivered by development partner hub South East on behalf of key stakeholders: NHS Lothian, the City of Edinburgh Council and West Lothian Council.
Together, these new facilities represent a £27.6m capital investment in the local economy, extending much needed health care capacity and council services.
Arthur McKay carried out a full M&E fit-out of these socially inclusive, progressive facilities and our in-house Data Cabling team installed the infrastructure for their data and voice networks.
On successful handover we received the following positive feedback from Craig Bridges, Regional Development Director for main contractor, GRAHAM:
“As Principal Contractor, we needed to be able to rely on our supply chain. The quality, experience and professionalism of the team at Arthur McKay helped us deliver a successful outcome across all three capital investment projects. Very few M&E contractors would have the scale to resource such projects simultaneously.”
