Every night at Lothian Buses Marine garage teams of cleaners go to work to make sure the vehicles are spotless for the next day on the road.
Arthur McKay we’re asked to design and install a lighting system that would illuminate the areas between the rows of buses, allowing cleaners to work efficiently and safely.
Roof lights we’re included within the new roof, providing a minimum of 15% daylight. Ambient lighting controls were incorporated to ensure artificial lighting in non-working bays was only used at strategic periods.
Extra external lighting maximises the use of all potential bus parking spaces and automatic controls optimise energy usage.
For Lothian Buses choosing Arthur McKay was the right route to go down.
