Reaching Out

Here at Arthur McKay, we reach out to you in the community and sponsor top sports people and children who dream of achieving such status. This support is to help them all reach their goals and aspirations.

Gordon Shedden

Arthur McKay is proud to continue sponsoring Scotland’s most successful Touring Car Championship racer, Gordon “Flash” Shedden.

Gordon has been involved in motorsport since 1999 and now drives for team Audi Sport Leopard Lukoil in the newly formed WTCR. As a three-time former champion (2012, 2015 and 2016), Gordon is the most successful Scottish driver in British Touring Car history and one of only three other Scots who have won the overall championship title.

“Flash” drives an Audi RS3 LMS, competing at the highest international level in the WTCR (FIA World Touring Car Cup).

Gary Anderson

Arthur McKay is extremely proud to sponsor Scotland’s darting hero, Gary Anderson.

With two consecutive World Championship titles under his belt alongside two Premier League titles (to name but a few of his achievements), “The Flying Scotsman” is up there with some of the finest players in the history of the sport. The former World Champion and world number one is renowned for his smooth throws and high scores; a set of skills he showcased when he hit an exceptional 9 darter against Jelle Klaasen in the semi-final of the 2016 World Darts Championship.

Originating from Eyemouth in the Scottish Borders, Gary is undoubtedly one of the country’s greatest ever sports stars and it’s an honour to support him.
